Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lothaire Maddox started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Club Atlético Lanús booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Lanús's Sidney Cavazos got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Holweck took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Van Ghele. Sven Van Ghele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Club Atlético Lanús's Lothaire Maddox dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 14th minute, Lothaire Maddox made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 18th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lothaire Maddox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Club Atlético Lanús was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garfield Watson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janik Vogt during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Sidney Cavazos rounded Germany's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothaire Maddox in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Liviu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Lanús's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Garfield Watson in the 65th minute. Garfield Watson made a great header on Club Atlético Lanús's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. After 68 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. 75 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Sven Van Ghele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Lothaire Maddox sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 84th minute Murray Schmitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Club Atlético Lanús's Édouard Bacon made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Diego Simeone with Liviu Liviu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothaire Maddox, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Lanús:s goal. Lothaire Maddox took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Club Atlético Lanús walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
