After 14 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúl Laredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raúl Laredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delinquentes Futbol Club's Raúl Laredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Delinquentes Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Raúl Laredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Delinquentes Futbol Club defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raúl Laredo. The Delinquentes Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raúl Laredo should have stopped the shot. Raúl Laredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 86th minute. Rolando Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bela Ruiz in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zeru Cambero was slow to take the kick. During this time Delinquentes Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
