Hıncal Hatırlı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Bayburtspor's Mehmet Ali Eriş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ali Eriş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Ali Eriş was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ensar Özakıncı sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Szekeres Tamas with Major Barna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Ali Eriş made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Bayburtspor getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Xu Guang hit a great ball. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mehmet Ali Eriş made a huge save. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayburtspor the free kick. Bayburtspor's Metin Özkurt was substituted for Hıncal Hatırlı. The supporters of Bayburtspor booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayburtspor's Metin Özkurt got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Ali Eriş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 86th minute of the match. Antal Valentin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Mehmet Ali Eriş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mehmet Ali Eriş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metin Özkurt in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Mehmet Ali Eriş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
