Horaţiu Bărăian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Damir Pongrac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute of the match Benjamin Domazet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horaţiu Bărăian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragoş Tremurici was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Toni Mauzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croatia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toni Mauzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Tremurici in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Petrică Cozaru made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Cozaru in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Cozaru came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Prunis MM's Horaţiu Bărăian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC Prunis MM from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Emilian Greavu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilian Greavu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Martin Bosak fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Martin Bosak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AFC Prunis MM getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Emilian Greavu hit a great ball. Horaţiu Bărăian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toni Mauzer's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Tremurici came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damir Pongrac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Horaţiu Bărăian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFC Prunis MM had won after a very even match.
