After having played for 18 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Blind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Michael Corleone struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Village Saint Charles FRC. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hector Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Village Saint Charles FRC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After having played for 38 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Kent Vandamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Kent Vandamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Herensuge in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Balazs Lajos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Corleone came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Village Saint Charles FRC's Ben Blind got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ben Blind quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Herensuge in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doctor Alban who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Village Saint Charles FRC's corner Doctor Alban fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Ben Blind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Village Saint Charles FRC made a substitution. Gerasimos Tzanetakos replaced Silverio Berart. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Antal Valentin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ben Blind. That made the score 2-3 after 73 minutes of play. Takacs Tibor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Blind read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Azubeli came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Jeremias Azubeli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. In the 90th match minute, Village Saint Charles FRC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llorienzo Varela to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Ben Blind in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, Major Barna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ben Blind. Major Barna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4.
