Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play forced CF Apaches's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Gmoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, CF Apaches's Gilbert Fronczak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Klement Korytkowski fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Apaches's protests and gave Klement Korytkowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when CF Apaches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Korytkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. In the 35th minute, Zygmunt Dudzik made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugeniusz Gmoch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Chris Mergenthaler notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CF Apaches's Eugeniusz Gmoch. Eugeniusz Gmoch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Maciej Dudkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After 56 minutes of play, CF Apaches's Zygmunt Dudzik made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugeniusz Gmoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugeniusz Gmoch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 73 minute of play. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eugeniusz Gmoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. When Willy Stieler fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Willy Stieler a yellow card for diving instead. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of CF Apaches booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a CF Apaches's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Eugeniusz Gmoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 92nd minute of the match. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
