Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Taurino came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Erasmo Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Çağrı Şehzat in the 25th minute of the match. Erasmo Loi came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Loi having to interfere. Erasmo Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Herbert Henskens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Ali Çağrı Şehzat in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Taurino got free with Arnout Reekers in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 43rd minute of play. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Oscar Salvadore was substituted for Eymen Kakisim. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Erasmo Loi in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Apocalípticos & Caóticos's zone, Kees Mooiweer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Loi came out of the goal and Kees Mooiweer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Fernando Gamus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Gamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Henskens in the 69th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Edelmiro Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Fernando Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Erasmo Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match Ali Çağrı Şehzat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. Herbert Henskens scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Apocalípticos & Caóticos.
