Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Mihele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Bohumir Kohout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Țiu the free kick. Victor Uzuneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Daniel Mihele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Boteanu in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Juventus Țiu got a freekick which was hit by Alex Gherghe. Valdemar Turecek hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Codruț Gogu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Țepeneag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codruț Gogu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Czech Republic got a corner. Juventus Țiu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Jilek ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Boteanu in the 28th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Alan Rezek made a precise shot to the right of Codruț Gogu. Juventus Țiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 41 minutes into the match, Juventus Țiu's Daniel Mihele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Jilek made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Ionel Scripcaru got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Victor Uzuneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus Țiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Uzuneanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Manuel Boteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rusil to maneuver through the defense. In the 87thth minute of the game Manuel Boteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Alex Gherghe got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Juventus Țiu were the better team. Juventus Țiu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
