Teobaldo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Imran Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Nocedo. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Casado in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Marco Nocedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Nocedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dante Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Imran Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imran Johnsson came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Casado in the 51st minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Imran Johnsson made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Columbo. Felipe Barreto in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Imran Johnsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Imran Johnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Felipe Barreto could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Imran Johnsson however easily saved by the left post. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Nocedo in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso FC's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Imran Johnsson came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Juan Matos notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Imran Johnsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 73rd minute. When Daniel Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pimentel couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Felipinho Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Imran Johnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pegaso FC's Máximo Policarpio was substituted for Dante Casado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 92nd minute of play forced Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Imran Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Imran Johnsson in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
