Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SAPRIMECKBEL. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Quiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Mora having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Xi Xun in the 60th minute of play. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAPRIMECKBEL's Kerry Flöter was substituted for Maxi Moralez. After 73 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Xi Xun in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, SAPRIMECKBEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Quiros to maneuver through the defense. SAPRIMECKBEL's Arsenio Valverde was substituted for Jaime Quiros. After 77 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Quiros.
