Nemesio Abilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newell´s's Nemesio Abilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 9th minute of play. Nemesio Abilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Newell´s's Pepito Tarnovskiy got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 15th minute of play forced Newell´s's goalkeeper Nemesio Abilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Newell´s's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Nemesio Abilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Gaspar Pelayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nemesio Abilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nemesio Abilio quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Pelayo got free with Fodor Daniel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Abilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Abilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Pelayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boros Benedek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Abilio having to interfere. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newell´s's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Hungary booed when Newell´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Newell´s's Nemesio Abilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Newell´s from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Newell´s booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sidónio Candeias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
