Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gábor Újházi kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Gábor Újházi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Roy Thorbjørnsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Thorbjørnsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Roy Thorbjørnsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. In the 20th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Kovács saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gellénháza's goalkeeper Valentin Kovács, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Thorbjørnsen in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Endre Toldi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Pál Halász rounded Denmark's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Roy Thorbjørnsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gellénháza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. A collision led to Gellénháza getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Roy Thorbjørnsen hit a great ball. Valentin Kovács showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Bertram Svenningsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gellénháza's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Valentin Kovács reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Kovács breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pál Halász in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gábor Újházi in the 62nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gábor Újházi in the 64th minute of play. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Roy Thorbjørnsen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Roy Thorbjørnsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Pál Halász recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Pál Halász notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Kovács made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Valentin Kovács in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
