Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. Florian Capasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 4th minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Capasso hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Florian Capasso fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Merusca F&P were awarded a corner. Fellipe Capixaba went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Merusca F&P's Fellipe Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Florian Capasso sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Pimentel during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, Bruno Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merusca F&P the free kick. 22 minutes into the game, one of Portugal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 30th minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merusca F&P's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. In the 32nd minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Capasso took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Bruno Bastos made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Merusca F&P's Anderson Vidal. In the 37thth minute of the game Florian Capasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro-Facundo Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro-Facundo Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Capasso to make the kick off. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro-Facundo Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Pimentel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 52nd minute. In the 59th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Vidal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Vihar Perchemliev got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Caetano Moreira could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Mauro-Facundo Buffon however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda got a free kick in the 65th minute. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. After having played for 69 minutes, Hélder Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Fonseca came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Geovani Mangueira in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Pimentel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 79 minute of play. After 82 minutes, Hélder Fonseca made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Hélder Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 90th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Fonseca went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. In the 96th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
