Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. With 84 minutes on the clock, Chris Mergenthaler commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 85 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Zeledon Calisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Eleuterio Weather kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, PARNASOVFC's Domingos Abadie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.
