Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyle Coppack came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Mei, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Patrik De Roost. In the 16th minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Carlos Mei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Carlos Mei took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. 47 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyle Coppack. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Mei was the one to do the kick off. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Fábio Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Felipe Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Lyle Coppack made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 66th minute. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portugal made a substitution. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Ipătescu came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
