Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Berggren struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Småland Utd. 11 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Lövgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Ove Lövgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Joacim Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gösta Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Berggren took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Joacim Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Berggren got free with Tommy Kahn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Småland Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Sven-Ove Lövgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joacim Hultman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Arman Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Småland Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Småland Utd were the better team. Småland Utd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
