The supporters of Hungary booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Fuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Helder Cadanes put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helder Cadanes in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Zeru Recino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 23 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rian Giggs in the 26th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rian Giggs in the 29th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Hegedus Henrik sped through Sabaneta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Mier. Fodor Daniel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sabaneta FC's Fabrício Prestes was substituted for Firman Urquizu. 71 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 82 in the game by Balazs Lajos from a close distance when the talented Kevin Mier managed to make a qualified save. Sabaneta FC's players were relieved. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rian Giggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fabrício Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabaneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Helder Cadanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Helder Cadanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
