Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 18th minute of play. Baykan Turatekin came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. But to his dismay, David Eikelkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of play forced Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goalkeeper Baykan Turatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Star Red Brasil - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Star Red Brasil - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Goiano. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Cardozo in the 34th minute of play. The Star Red Brasil - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Nico Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 36 minutes into the match, Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Baykan Turatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Star Red Brasil - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavien Gally to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baykan Turatekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Baykan Turatekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baykan Turatekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Baykan Turatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Baykan Turatekin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 60 minute of play. Baykan Turatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 70th minute. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Luís Fabiano Tasso was substituted for Isaltino Goiano. In the 72nd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Cardozo in the 73rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baykan Turatekin came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 78th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Baykan Turatekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arí de Senna hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Baykan Turatekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Star Red Brasil - DMZ.
