FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hegedus Henrik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Peralta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Nuno Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Panduru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Perișoară in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Hegedus Henrik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nuno Peralta quite easily take care of the ball. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Călin Boieraș took the corner. Horia Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Horia Chioreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vörös Henrik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Nuno Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Horia Chioreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Nuno Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 45th minute of the match. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nuno Peralta. Antal Valentin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Costin Malcoci was substituted for Horia Chioreanu. 64 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Panduru came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Peralta was a little too slow when Antal Valentin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-3. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Adrian Nasta was substituted for Basarab Panduru. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Nuno Peralta made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuno Peralta. The goal made the score 0-4. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Nasta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt were awarded a corner. Călin Boieraș went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Eric Gorcea to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Malcoci in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Malcoci in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szekeres Tamas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Costin Malcoci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Boieraș made a great header on FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
