The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Endura was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The SOUTH THUNDER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-2.

When Chris Nygaard got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Desiderio Endura was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. SOUTH THUNDER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olav Graversen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Desiderio Endura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Desiderio Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
