Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Lepper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Janusz Pusiak scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Dominik Lepper reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Dominik Lepper scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 3-0. In the 30th minute, Dominik Lepper fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 5-0 after 32 minutes of play. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dominik Lepper showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 40th minute Janusz Pusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2kC Poznań's Czeslaw Hoffman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 44th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Janusz Pusiak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
In the 52nd minute Dominik Lepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tadeusz Rutkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. After 58 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. If Dominik Lepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Janusz Pusiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Tadeusz Rutkowski in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Lepper in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Turak who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Edgar Turak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Merski, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After taking down the ball on 2kC Poznań's corner Dominik Lepper fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 90th minute of play. Czeslaw Dembowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Merski in the 97th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2kC Poznań's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
