But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Angelo Ciceron came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Ciceron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 20 minute of play. Angelo Ciceron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 27th minute of the match, Angelo Ciceron got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Hilario Muc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Inocencio Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Arjen Robben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Satordi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Angelo Ciceron sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
