Roman Masharov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Arnaldo Alsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Alsua in the 14th minute of play. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Roman Masharov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Alsua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Masharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ............'s Arnaldo Alsua got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Alsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the match, ............'s goal looked a bit too open when Robert Chapuis came free, but Roman Masharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, ............ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, France's David Barbier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Masharov narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Alsua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Alsua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 56th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Masharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Arnaldo Alsua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ............'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Alsua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Arnaldo Alsua made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Peter Achenbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Alsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Arnaldo Alsua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, ............'s Arnaldo Alsua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Arnaldo Alsua made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Durand. France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 77 minutes of play, ............'s Arnaldo Alsua made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Alsua came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Alsua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Arnaldo Alsua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Maxence Durand hit a great ball. If Lino Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ............ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of France for a fine match.
