Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Paris in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Arellano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Reinaldo McCormick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 34 in the game by Reinaldo McCormick from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flame Throwers reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Flame Throwers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton managed to reach the ball for a save. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldo Helton could save by the left post. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Waldo Helton made a huge save. Dave Paris took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's Reinaldo McCormick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Waldo Helton to make any attempt to save it. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Waldo Helton made a huge save. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldo Helton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Waldo Helton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo McCormick in the 90th minute of play. Antal Valentins short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Waldo Helton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flame Throwers throughout the match.
