In the 16thth minute of the game Dionisio Panpili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Silvio Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Abadia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Reynaldo Duarte in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgrano de Pibasog's Erasmo Jaunzuria. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybek Orcun in the 22nd minute of the match. Reynaldo Duarte made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgrano de Pibasog's Erasmo Jaunzuria. 26 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Cilio came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Judas Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio got control of the ball when Dionisio Panpili tried to sneak it across the goal line.
