Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelios Kopanaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Belgrano de Pibasog's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blue Dolar in the 21st minute. Stelios Kopanaras made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Judas Verón sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, Humberto Egoi threw the ball into play from the sideline. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Calvino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Raggio was a little too slow when Teofilo Salomon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgrano de Pibasog had won after a very even match.
