The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 minutes Laurita FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antônio Carlos Xavier who took care of the corner kick. Johan Kiewit hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Mario Alberto Kempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leandro Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Mario Alberto Kempes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bermejo Club's Leandro Munio. Leandro Munio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Johan Kiewit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bermejo Club's Honorio Nikola was substituted for Antônio Carlos Xavier. Bermejo Club's Honorio Nikola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Csaba Szénási, made in the 37th minute of the game. Laurita FC were furious when Fabian Manni was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute, one of Laurita FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laurita FC. Laurita FC:s Arnulfo Kinsen showed great skill when he stopped Feliberto Tauro:s penalty. After some careless play in the Laurita FC defense, Feliberto Tauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Kinsen. The Laurita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Kinsen should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Kiewit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Johan Kiewit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Kinsen. Laurita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Kiewit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Arnulfo Kinsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Kiewit's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Arnulfo Kinsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Nikola went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Laurita FC made a substitution. Filip Ikalewicz replaced Hélder Fernandez. Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Nikola in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Bermejo Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. David Hulberto hit a great ball. Laurita FC made a substitution. Šair Lupin replaced Mario Alberto Kempes. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when Bermejo Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's goal looked a bit too open when Du Zheng Rong came free, but Leandro Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Laurita FC's Leandro Munio threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Du Zheng Rong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Du Zheng Rong's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leandro Munio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnulfo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Kiewit, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Honorio Nikola notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen. Arnulfo Kinsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardino Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leandro Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Csaba Szénási kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Laurita FC's zone, David Hulberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Kinsen came out of the goal and David Hulberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Bermejo Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
