The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Filomeno Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Arnas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sebastián Torrico was a little too slow when Judas Verón got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Blue Dolar got a free kick in the 10th minute. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Cruz in the 12th minute of play. Marcel Mavrodin lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Belgrano de Pibasog's Timo Haydon was substituted for Honorato Jerrold. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgrano de Pibasog! The referee gave Urko FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filomeno Kauldi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio. 1-1. In the 25th minute Filomeno Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Arnas came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Torrico made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Judas Verón sent off a good shot on target. Belgrano de Pibasog's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blue Dolar in the 31st minute. After taking down the ball on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner Eustaquio Fortun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastián Torrico quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Kauldi in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Raggio saved Belgrano de Pibasog from getting behind. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Cruz in the 39th minute of play. Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Arnass short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Bernardo Raggio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Kauldi in the 56th minute of play. John Volkertsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Raggio made a huge save. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Blue Dolar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Blue Dolar. Andrew Robertson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Raggio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Urko FC's Igor Baudelio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Raggio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros was substituted for Blue Dolar. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcia Morros in the 85th minute of the match. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Baudelio in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Arrosko Lechem came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match, Igor Baudelio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Raggio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute, Erasmo Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Arrosko Lechem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Alonso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardo Raggio firmly grabbed it by the left post.
