Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bermejo Club made a substitution. Honorio Nikola replaced Johan Kiewit. The wind increased when Dionisio Panpili made the kick off in the second half. The coaching staff of Bermejo Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ruperto Theobald had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute, Ruperto Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bermejo Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
