After a defensive mix-up in Vanadio F.C.'s zone, Andres Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argoitz Bustelo came out of the goal and Andres Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Rameriz Cando notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 0 descensos's Constantino Modestio. Constantino Modestio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vanadio F.C.'s Rameriz Cando got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eden Hazar scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantino Modestio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eden Hazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Eden Hazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 0 descensos's Constantino Modestio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Argoitz Bustelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakobe Castañeda in the 41st minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Constantino Modestio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eden Hazar made a kick off. Eden Hazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Constantino Modestio made a huge save. Argoitz Bustelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Estevez in the 55th minute of the match. Eden Hazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Constantino Modestio came out and tried to block the shot, but Eden Hazar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, 0 descensos's Andres Lucero got a free kick in the 61st minute. 0 descensos's Constantino Modestio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rameriz Cando in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Rameriz Cando took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Constantino Modestio to make any attempt to save it. Romano Montoya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Modestio having to make a save. In the 75th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ishmael Rico to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to 0 descensos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Teo Etxepare hit a great ball. When Xuoco Bultes fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vanadio F.C.'s protests and gave Xuoco Bultes a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Arturo Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 0 descensos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Estevez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sancho Orodea hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Vanadio F.C.'s Constantino Modestio threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romano Montoya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Romano Montoya came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Vanadio F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romano Montoya couldn't finish the play. Constantino Modestio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rameriz Cando, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Vanadio F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 0 descensos throughout the match.
