Donato Nalo took the corner. The corner led Club Atlético Atlanta's Donato Nalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Gregorio Berriotxoa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 10th minute, 0 descensos's Serafino Palban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the 0 descensos defense, Bonifacio Cresconio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Berriotxoa. The 0 descensos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Berriotxoa should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Lohitzun. Melquiades Salvatore came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by 0 descensos's Alberto Lohitzun. But to his dismay, Alberto Lohitzun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Serafino Palban charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Palban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when 0 descensos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Lohitzun scored 3-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as 0 descensos's Serafino Palban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. That made the score 4-1 after 32 minutes of play. Gregorio Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Jaunti in the 35th minute of the match. Serafino Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. After 40 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Pero.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Lohitzun to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Honrio in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 0 descensos's Amancio Pero got a free kick in the 54th minute. Victorino Tab lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 65th minute, Victorino Tab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Admon hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Cresconio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gregorio Berriotxoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute of the match, Artemio Jaunti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Berriotxoa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Melquiades Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Oxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0 descensos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
