The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C.A.Independiente's Savaşer Demirkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Aznar in the 4th minute of play. Guansa were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after C.A.Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ildefonso Arixo took the corner. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Sidros short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Esteban José Andrada to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 20 minutes into the match, Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Sidro. Adolfo Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban José Andrada having to interfere. A collision led to C.A.Independiente getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ignacio Furman hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Guansa's Aaron Sandalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Savaşer Demirkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Sandalio in the 35th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Savaşer Demirkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When C.A.Independiente's Adolfo Sidro in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guansa's goalie prevented a goal. Savaşer Demirkan went to the wrong direction when Ildefonso Arixo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Sandalio in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savaşer Demirkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Sidro to strike the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Txilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban José Andrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Sidro in the 60th minute of play. Ildefonso Arixo's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Savaşer Demirkan - 0-3 was put on the score board in the 65th minute. Guansa's Aaron Sandalio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Independiente's Ludomir Oleszak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leon Lobo, made in the 74th minute of the game. Anselmo Txilar scored 0-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Savaşer Demirkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eloy Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savaşer Demirkan having to interfere. Ildefonso Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Adolfo Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the C.A.Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Sidro couldn't finish the play. C.A.Independiente's Severino Joanes was substituted for Adolfo Sidro. Savaşer Demirkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Aznar in the 93rd minute of the match. Anselmo Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guansa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
