Nicolas Froila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Bennvar Buffon made a huge save. In the 15th minute of the match Celtic FC got a corner. Bolsodios's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ted Ambjörnsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Celtic FC's Ted Ambjörnsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Bennvar Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Celtic FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolsodios the free kick. The supporters of Bolsodios booed when Celtic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Barea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Froila might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bennvar Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Froila ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastián Junes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Berto Somiedo sent off a good shot on target. Berto Somiedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Junes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berto Somiedo ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Junes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berto Somiedo. Celtic FC's Sebastián Junes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berto Somiedo in the 95th minute of play. When Bolsodios's Berto Somiedo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celtic FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 96 played minutes Bolsodios got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Udalaitz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bolsodios had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
