Pedro Ostargi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Sidro went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 3-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Niceto Rio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Rio got free with Pedro Ostargi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Sidro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Ostargi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Sidro in the 32nd minute of play forced Mata Tangas de Victoria's goalkeeper Pedro Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mata Tangas de Victoria's Pedro Ostargi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mata Tangas de Victoria from getting a goal against them. Karl-Axel Jansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Annacondia in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the game, C.A.Independiente's Carlitos Prezioso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 79th match minute, Mata Tangas de Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Astozas to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, C.A.Independiente's Adolfo Sidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 88th minute, Carlitos Prezioso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Ostargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 92 played minutes Mata Tangas de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Astozas. After a defensive mix-up in Mata Tangas de Victoria's zone, Adolfo Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Ostargi came out of the goal and Adolfo Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Annacondia kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A.Independiente fully deserved thier win.
