In the 23rd minute, Celestino Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski was substituted for Mateusz Marajda.

The wind increased when Karol Borowski made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Damaso Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congo Bongo and the C. A. Potrero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petre Traian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 52nd minute of play. Damaso Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Arendarski having to interfere. Wu Hong Ning made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arnaldo Oidor immediately put the ball in play. Karol Borowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Traian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, C. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Traian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski got control of the ball when Bernabe Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Arendarski having to interfere. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. Petre Traian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Yorangil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Oidor in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Arendarski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Congo Bongo's Arnaldo Oidor in the 94th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emil Arendarski was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for C. A. Potrero through an amazing save. Congo Bongo were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after C. A. Potrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Özalp Yavuzalp took the corner. Congo Bongo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
