Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Marajda came free, but Lajos Vadász reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gervasio Dalmai hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mateusz Marajda sped through Club A. Independiente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lajos Vadász. Mateusz Marajda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lajos Vadász read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Mauro Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Karol Borowski replaced Mateusz Marajda. Lionel 梅西 struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Emil Arendarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
