Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Peto in the 6th minute of the match. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hibai Olano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Sperides got a freekick which was hit by Fortun Roca. After a defensive mix-up in Sperides's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hibai Olano came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes Sperides's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Wim Wilmes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hibai Olano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wim Wilmes sped through Sperides's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hibai Olano. In the 89th minute, Henning Valler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hibai Olano made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Santalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Hibai Olano however easily saved by the left post. Sperides's Hibai Olano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Sperides from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Sperides's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hibai Olano quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sperides.
