Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alek Ploskov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Zacarias Jatsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 9th minute of play forced Club Deportivo avellaneda's goalkeeper Zacarias Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alek Ploskov. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo avellaneda defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Jatsu. The Club Deportivo avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Jatsu should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Alek Ploskov came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Jatsu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 25th minute. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zacarias Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Deportivo avellaneda booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Diego Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Jatsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Denmark's Mikkel Wulff in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Zacarias Jatsu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Deportivo avellaneda through an amazing save. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Jatsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Jatsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Alek Ploskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Deportivo avellaneda's Zacarias Jatsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo avellaneda from getting a goal against them. Zacarias Jatsu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. The Club Deportivo avellaneda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
