Flying Hellfish's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Porziano Marchitelli struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kazimierz Wielkopolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. 20 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Nevada Soto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nevada Soto in the 31 minute of the game. Kazimierz Wielkopolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute of the game Nevada Soto made a throw-in which Amedeo Carlucci played forward. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Afloroaiei to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Miels in the 64th minute of play. Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Cutri in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. 84 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Jonathan Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Porziano Marchitelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski firmly grabbed it by the left post.
