Daniel Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clóvis Marinho hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FALCÕES VERDES's Clóvis Marinho got a free kick in the 14th minute. FALCÕES VERDES's Daniel Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 16th minute of play. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Gerber came out and tried to block the shot, but Metod Mlynar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 54th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Suchy in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FALCÕES VERDES's Nilton Abreu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Daniel Gerber in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Richard Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FALCÕES VERDES's Daniel Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FALCÕES VERDES from getting a goal against them. Oliver Holub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. FALCÕES VERDES's attentive Clóvis Marinho managed to snatch the ball when Pavol Koleno made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Tepedino. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Metod Mlynar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Slovakia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FALCÕES VERDES throughout the match.
