A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Niilo Mikkola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. João Pedro Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Pedro Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Törnqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Jacobo Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Norberto Trevisan in the 29 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 31st minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after SeleSantos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro did a great save. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mikkel Wulff hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Törnqvist in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kenn Skou hit a great ball. Daniel Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dinei Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 55th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Niilo Mikkola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 minutes SeleSantos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. After 64 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Norberto Trevisan, made in the 66th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Bertram Svenningsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Niilo Mikkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niilo Mikkola took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niilo Mikkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Törnqvist in the 80th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Montenegro. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 82nd minute of play. Jacobo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SeleSantos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Denmark for a fine match.
