When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Loco Durazno took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ovidio Roland to make any attempt to save it. Intimos de Reynoso's Aquiles Castro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arne Tönnberg in the 9 minute of the game. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 12th minute of play. Meder Muños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Lundqvist having to interfere. Marcelo Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ovidio Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meder Muños's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Muños in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Roland made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target.

Golden Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Durazno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Roland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños got a free kick in the 60th minute. Meder Muños hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lope Quijana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Anders Lundqvist made a huge save. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Lope Quijana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Burç Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Lions FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
