The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gonzo Maradona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Leonardo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Saldanha in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Estevez during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severino Estevez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 24th minute of play. The corner ended in Fortun Bobes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona did a great save. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Junior Busquets quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrick Beckham, made in the 29th minute of the game. In the 39th minute of the game Bjørn Ironside made a throw-in which Zoil Pequeño played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Poirier in the 40th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Zoil Pequeño came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Zoil Pequeño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoil Pequeño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzo Maradona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Leonardo Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Boldu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Boldu was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Junior Busquets hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Romário Macedo replaced Franky Flam. Jose Boldu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 66th minute of the match. Jose Boldu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi. But to his dismay, Leonardo Tipi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 87th minute of play. Jose Boldu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Võsandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Tipi took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Boldu. Jose Boldu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Deportivo ScrugenFC defense, Edvard Võsandi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Boldu. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Boldu should have stopped the shot. Les Tigres were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo ScrugenFC for a fine match.
