Ritchie Stansfield didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoil Pequeño went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Pedro Cucao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Ayuntamiento CF! In the 20th minute, Şehzade Mustafa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoil Pequeño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ritchie Stansfield read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Zoil Pequeño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ritchie Stansfield. With a little luck, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield got control of the ball when Leobardo Padierna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Boldu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Doriva Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ritchie Stansfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Real Ayuntamiento CF made a substitution. Roberto Javiero replaced Blažej Blazejowski. The Real Ayuntamiento CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo ScrugenFC's performance.
