Fiori Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 曾震渊's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 曾震渊 helped the player get up and apologised. 曾震渊 kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fiori Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vila Nova FC's Vladimir Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾震渊 in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Fiori Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 38th minute of play forced Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Fiori Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Postelnicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Mota having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Postelnicescu to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fiori Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jiang Nan Han struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Nova FC. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 66th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾震渊 in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute 曾震渊 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Mota was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. In the 79th minute Luca Postelnicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Fiori Mota. 85 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vila Nova FC's Luca Postelnicescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. If Luca Postelnicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
