Cauã Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival da Fonseca during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 88 minutes into the game, Metod Mlynar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cauã Paranaense. Metod Mlynar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Oliver Holub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Holub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Paranaense having to interfere. The Slovakia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Slovakia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
