Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) England's Kyle Cox started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Micah Macdonald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Magno Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Cesinha Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magno Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Kyle Cox left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The England fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Magno Leite came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by England's Kyle Cox. But to his dismay, Kyle Cox quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the EC Fragata defense, Kyle Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno Leite. The EC Fragata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno Leite should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Damião in the 30th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Micah Macdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edu Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Valle came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Valle in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Issac Dawson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magno Leite was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloísio Abreu during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, EC Fragata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Magno Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Paiva in the 64th minute of the match. Antônio Alcântara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, one of EC Fragata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. England's Kyle Cox was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Magno Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 76th minute of the match. With his leg Magno Leite managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when England's Issac Dawson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gilmar Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magno Leite was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EC Fragata's Magno Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Paiva in the 91st minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Edu Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EC Fragata and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 98th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. England walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
