Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Kléber Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tiago Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Geovani Coutinho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Cavalcante in the 19th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute of the match, Romildo Pratti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Kléber Cavalcante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C.'s Geovani Coutinho got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Kléber Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Kléber Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléber Cavalcante made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 53rd minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romildo Pratti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Tiago Godoi in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Lago in the 59th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Godoi made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when São Paulo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. São Paulo F.C. made a substitution. Wanderson Melo replaced Buba Seco. São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow was substituted for Vito Travassos. Murillo Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Edmílson Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 72nd minute. The supporters of São Paulo F.C. booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléber Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Major Barna did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Tiago Godoi 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 82nd minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 84th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Cavalcante in the 86th minute of play. São Paulo F.C.'s Dirk Snabl was substituted for Edmílson Lago. 90 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Cavalcante in the 93rd minute of play. Murillo Cordeiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Hegedus Henrik made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi managed to reach the ball for a save. The São Paulo F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
