Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caio da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Chong Sheppard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Chong Sheppard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Qikiqtarjuaq FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Chong Sheppard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 13th minute, one of Qikiqtarjuaq FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. The referee gave Portugal a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felipe Barreto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno. 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abel Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Michael Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Michael Owen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alfonzo Davidson was substituted for Gary Thomason. In the 43rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Owen was the one to do the kick off. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bastien Aldridge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Bueno having to interfere. Bartolomeu Dias in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Bueno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daron Keen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastien Aldridge in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Wilber Leon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Wilber Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Qikiqtarjuaq FC had won after a very even match.
