Guillermo Izquierdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Silvio Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Guillermo Izquierdo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 9 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Karl Holmberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robin Wallgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Wallgren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Holmberg in the 13th minute of play. Major Barna scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Bazil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiburcio Pepillo scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guillermo Izquierdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 27th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Silvio Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Bazil having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Bazil having to interfere. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvio Bazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Antal Valentin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvio Bazil, passed just outside the right post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Palermo F.C. made a substitution. Serafin Manni replaced Karl Holmberg. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Bazil having to interfere. The Martin Palermo F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
